“My work progressively researches and utilises the process of drawing, painting & printmaking to function as a language. As a writer would use vocabulary and a composer would use musical score I use elements and space to “speak” about the world around us. Predominantly I focus on everyday domestic objects that are commonplace, analyzing the ordinary to reveal the extraordinary. The intention is to encourage a dialogue, without being dictatorial; to instigate a journey, based on associated thought, which does not have to be logical or resolved.”
