Claire is an artist and illustrator, working in enhanced watercolours, pastels and acrylics, with a solid background in art and design.

She is probably most renowned for her floral paintings that seem to capture a moment in time.

Her enchanting pet portraits have become a favourite with the artist and sought after by pet lovers at home and abroad.

Her recent still life studies using soft pastel have also become very popular in recent exhibitions.

Claire also enjoys working with acrylics and a mixed medium on her abstract paintings which seem to bring out the Textile Design training that she had.

Claire was born in Birmingham and raised in West Bromwich where she showed a strong interest in drawing from an early age.

She studied at Stourbridge College of Art and Technology and later at West Surrey College of Art and Design where she gained a BA Hons in printed Textile Design.

Claire resides in Spain on the Costa del Sol where she is obsessively painting and working towards various exhibitions, with the help of her artistic father in England. She is a member of The Wolverhampton Society of Artists and also Worcester Society of Artists and has been an active member of the Gallery at Bevere, Worcester for some time now and regularly exhibits her work there.

Her inspirations include Ann Blockley, Janet Whittle, Valerie Briggs, Morgan Penn, Barbara Rousseau, David Poxon to name but a few.
