8th August - 30th August 2009In the Galleries...Pattern, Colour and Form - New Approaches to CreativityAn exhibition designed to showcase 19 of the makers and artists featured in internationally renowned professional ceramicist Carolyn Genders' new book of the same name, focussing on colour and creativity. Pattern, Colour and Form is an exciting exploration of creativity, which offers fascinating insights for anyone wishing to broaden their understanding of this process. It looks at work from a broad range of disciplines to investigate the development of ideas, and the use of source material. Carolyn Genders, Author, discusses in the book creativity in general to show how different makers find inspiration from a variety of source material and how they translate that material into original and highly individual work. The exhibition at The Gallery at Bevere, brings the book to life with actual pieces featured. Carolyn herself and some of the other makers will be available at the launch on 8th August to sign books and talk to visitors to the show. Exhibitors:Jewellery: Kayo Saito, Susan Cross, Nora Fok
