The German Show
An exciting mix of styles and approaches in German studio pottery

Fritz Rossman, Monika Debus, Christiane Wilhelm, Markus Klausmann

We are pleased to bring together four German potters whose work we have admired for some time. Monika's painterly organic vessels are seen rarely in the UK but Fritz is to be seen regularly at ceramic fairs and shows here. His work is to be seen in many public collections in Germany, Italy and Denmark. Christiane Wilhelm comes from Munich and her thrown ceramic vessels are based on classical forms and derive their strength from the tension between clear rigorous lines and the handling of form and colour. Markus Klausman is a dynamic maker who uses a range of techniques including saggar and wood firing. Together these four potters make for another exciting and stimulating Bevere Show.

This ceramics exhibition is support by a selection of new watercolours from two of Worcestershire's most loved and regarded painters John Harris and Ian Cruickshank.
