Lowri has recently graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University with a Degree in Fine Art. She is now currently undertaking a Masters in Graphic Design at York St John’s University. She specialises in automatic drawings and has applied that to ceramics. She takes inspiration from her home, the Isle of Man and its natural shapes and patterns.
Her work reflects the unconscious mind, and how it responds to the outside media, music etc. This has been her main practice for the past 3 years during which time she has created three ongoing books full of patterns, She also applies this method to printmaking and ceramics. She was interested in linking this with Neurodivergence as she has dyslexia and has found that it is a major contributor to her art and how she makes it.
