Chloe Charrington

Chloe Charrington is a ceramic artist creating hand-thrown, sculptural vessels that explore form, texture, and surface. Working with altered and “flattened” stoneware forms, she uses mark-making and brushed slips to evoke stillness and a quiet connection to the natural world, often leaving pieces unglazed to preserve their raw tactility.

Chloe spent over a decade producing functional pottery for private clients, restaurants and art venues, including the Michelin-starred Askham Hall, Gallery at Home, Irving Contemporary and New Brewery Arts. She graduated with Distinction from the MA Ceramics programme at Cardiff School of Art & Design, and her recent sculptural work has been shown in Two Worlds and Luminescence at Gallery at Home, with further exhibitions forthcoming. Her work has been shortlisted for the Guildford House Open Art Prize.
