Cristina Gardiner ARBSA
Cristina is a Worcester based artist, originally from Florence where she studied art, and painter whose work crosses between abstraction and representation borne from strong emotions in response to place.
With a background in architecture and built heritage conservation she is particularly interested in landscapes that speak of time, erosion and renewal. Cristina is fascinated by the abstraction of light and the spaces they create and the observation of light and shadows in interior spaces.
Cristina was elected to Associate at RBSA (Royal Society of Birmingham Artists) and is an active participator to the society.
She is a member of the Birmingham Art Circle, Easel Club, Worcestershire Open Studios.
