Following a career as an Occupational Therapist in mental health Jean Jenkins graduated from Wolverhampton University with a First Class Honours degree in ceramics in 2005. Jean now works from her studio in Bridgnorth looking out to the Shropshire Hills.
Her stoneware vessels are hand-built with slabs and coils of clay, the form is then refined with a variety of metal tools. A natural appearance is achieved by rubbing oxides into the textured surface then sprayed with a white stoneware glaze.
Her sculptural pots are suitable for indoor and outdoor spaces.
