Working from her garden studio in Bristol, Liz creates handmade pottery for homes and restaurants. She aims to make functional pieces that can be used every day, and that are also a joy to look at and hold. Her work is often colourful, using layered glazes to create patterns and evoke images of mountains or horizons.
Liz specialised in Ceramics whilst studying 3D design at Manchester School of Art. Keen to learn more she apprenticed at North Street Potters in London, before joining the collective. After 5 years in London, she travelled to work with potters in Bali and Australia.
Having worked in many different environments, Liz has taken inspiration from each place, bringing it all together into her current practice.
