Neil trained as a blacksmith in Hereford at the internationally recognised centre of excellence for the training of blacksmiths and farriers. He later taught there for 10 years at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.
In February 2016 Neil was awarded the bronze medal from the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths and am now a Fellow of the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths (FWCB), Master Blacksmiths.
It is important to Neil that he makes everything individually myself. This ensures that whatever the piece each one is unique, a one off.
