It is that time of the year again, when we are delighted to hold our Annual Graduate Show, this year our 15th!

The gallery curatorial team have selected fourteen graduates from eight universities and colleges from around the country whose work shows considerable creative diversity.

It was a real pleasure to again be able to physically handle and see the graduates’ work in person during the selection process; our 2021 and 2022 selection process had been virtual because of the COVID lockdown.

The Graduate Show is an important exhibition in the gallery’s calendar and it is an opportunity for some graduates to show their work in a commercial gallery for the first time.

We value the opportunity to promote new makers who in some cases, will continue to exhibit with us. As we have often said, it is an exciting start to the Gallery’s Featured Makers Programme and is clearly welcomed by many of our gallery friends.

Per previous years, visitors will be invited to vote for their favourite graduate, the one with the most votes will continue to be promoted by us during 2023 and featured ‘One Year On’ in 2024’s Graduate Show. Also, one voting visitor’s name will be pulled out of a draw to win a £100 voucher to spend in the Gallery.

We will leave the introduction of the exhibitors to their display in the gallery itself where on the opening day some of the graduates will be in attendance.

Do come and visit the show and cast a vote for your favourite, we look forward to the usual open discussions regarding this body of new work from emerging talent in the ceramics and printmaking worlds.
